Lourdes is our fearless leader. She is a licensed mental health counselor with more than 18 years of experience in behavioral health services in addiction and mental health settings. Lourdes is committed to helping her clients live in a rewarding present, with an outlook on a satisfying future. She previously served as the Regional Coordinator for the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports and is also an experienced clinical program director of outpatient and residential substance use disorder services. In addition, Lourdes provides training in person-centered care, motivational interviewing, quality improvement and clinical supervision. She holds a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and an undergraduate degree from Empire State in Community and Human Services.
Dr. Randolph brings his warm and gracious bedside manner and more than 45 years of medical expertise to NewDay. He is an expert on addiction and takes a person-centered approach to helping his patients overcome obstacles and achieve sobriety. His experience includes working with outpatient, inpatient and residential detox programs as well as with medication assisted treatment. Dr. Randolph’s expertise and years of experience ensure that NewDay follows all best practices for outpatient treatment. Dr. Randolph received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine.
Gloria is a 30-year veteran within the substance abuse field. She began her career as a counselor in a methadone program and went on to an array of positions in private and hospital-based organizations. She has been a CASAC program instructor as well as taught and trained individuals and agencies seeking to learn more about substance abuse, sharing her knowledge and expertise. Gloria has her CASAC certification, an MS in Education from Brooklyn College and a BS in Psychology from Baruch College.
Robert brings a wealth of experience to New Day Treatment, with a background rooted in both nursing home care and home medical equipment. As Director of Business Development, he is committed to forging strong community partnerships to ensure that each client receives comprehensive and compassionate care. With a family-first philosophy, Robert emphasizes a patient-centered approach that aligns with New Day Treatment’s mission of supporting individuals on their path to recovery. His dedication to building connections within the mental health and addiction community reflects his belief in the power of collaboration to foster better outcomes for all.
Luis began working as a substance abuse counselor in 2013. Since then he has been a recovery coach, intensive case manager, admissions specialist, quality assurance coordinator and bilingual clinical counselor. Born and raised in NYC, Luis obtained an associate's degree in medical administration and a bachelor's degree in health services administration from Monroe College and a CASAC from Fordham University.
Michelle has over 14 years of experience in the healthcare field, bringing a wealth of expertise as a medical assistant, health coach and counselor. Her professional journey includes roles in substance abuse counseling, patient advocacy, outreach work and health education. She is adept at navigating the intricacies of healthcare in diverse environments, including community-based care, medical office and in-patient facility. Her commitment to patient well-being is evident through her tenure in the field, where she excelled in providing compassionate and effective healthcare solutions. Michelle is dedicated and passionate about the work she does as a counselor, providing exceptional services and support to clients. Michelle’s credentials include M.A.C.Py,C.M.A and C.A.S.A-T.
Timothy believes in treatment, recovery and the miracles that coexist with living "One Day at a Time". He began this journey about 40 years ago, indulging in drugs and alcohol. Today, he uses those experiences to help others. His biggest accomplishment to date is becoming a CRPA and working at NewDay. He is a proud graduate of Cayuga Community College and is always immersing himself in the most up-to-date information on addiction treatment so he can do his utmost for our clients.
Vedia grew up in Far Rockaway and has always felt connected to her neighborhood. She is a graduate of Far Rockaway High School and feels blessed to be working in her community. Vedia is trained in the fields of business development and customer service and has been in the healthcare industry for over 14 years. She has dedicated her life to helping people and making them feel good about themselves.
